Taking a vacation off of suboxone
So SWIM has acquired a full bottle of 120 ml hycodan. The whole bottle contains 120 mg hydrocodone. SWIM is also on suboxone. The last time he took any suboxone was at 5o'clock on friday february 28th. He was wondering how long to wait for the buprenorphine to clear his system so it doesn't block the effects of the hydrocodone. He was thinking that 5o'clock on monday march 2nd would be a good bet. 72 hours should be enough for the bupe to get out of his system. Any input would be appreciated as he would like to know if he should wait longer than 72 hours of shorter. He has been on suboxone for about 5 weeks and takes around 8 mg a day. Thanks.
