Health - High dose adderall while sick? Help really appreciated

Alright so SWIMs crazy nature has gotten them in a pretty shitty situation. A little background SWIM does not do high adderall doses often so it tweeks them the hell out. SWIM has been sick since sunday (doc says a virus) and they thought they were getting better so in order to feel well enough to make it through a long day of classes but they got carried away and ended up dropping 80mg total during the day and got maybe 2 hours of sleep. The next two days SWIM took their normal adderall dose 10mg IR in the morning and 10mg IR in the afternoon and got their normal sleep. Now it is friday and SWIM dropped 40mg between 7am-3pm and then 40mg between 7pm-10pm in order to have a nice finale before they took a nice long break from amphetamines after being so careless and dumb about it earlier in the week. The main reason for deciding to stop was SWIM noticed that tolerance is very rapid and acknowledges that. SWIM has dropped large doses of adderall maybe 4 other times so it's not like they have an amphetamine problem.

SWIMs concern is that since that first 80mg on tuesday they have felt all sorts of symptoms and such and SWIM can't tell if it's caused by illness or the amphetamines. SWIM notices pain in their upper left chest over the heart area thats become pretty frequent now and of course being bugged out on amphetamines SWIM worries about his heart but SWIM is pretty sure his heart is fine besides the strain its gone through the past 4 days. SWIM worries more that it may be costochondritis or some kind of lung pain. SWIMs joints are all achey mostly everywhere from their hands to their stomach. SWIM can't tell if symptoms are due to adderall usage or their illness. SWIM is aware taking adderall while sick is a really shitty idea and this situation has been their own doing. They plan on resting for the next two days.

Mainly, SWIM's doctor on sunday did not really do the best examination and SWIM is worried that they could actually have some kind of infection instead of a virus and that the adderall is going to lead to pnemonia or something.

So now it's friday and all these symptoms have just gotten worse even with decent sleep. Having all these things in my head is unsettling. Should SWIM be concerned at all? If SWIY has has a similar experience, how'd it end up? SWIM doesn't trust himself after his large episodes with adderall and just needs to know if its all in their head or if they have a legitimate concern. Thank you for bothering to read all this shit SWIM really deserves to be yelled at for their irresponsibility.

SWIM is prescribed 20mg IR 3x/day. She recently had a long weekend of work and began to feel very depressed when the adderall wore off. She didnt get much sleep from working back to back shifts, and on the last shift she didn't take her meds at all just to give her body a break. SWIM was feeling so out of it that day and unusually down, and figured it was caused by the lack of all that extra dopamine the amphs would otherwise produce. Today she feels very sick....nausea, achiness, & a really bad headache. Now SWIM is wondering if she is just sick with the flu again (for the 3rd time in 2 months....sick people need to stay away from her!!). SWIM is unsure if the amphs cause symptoms SWIY has mentioned and was in fact curious herself. The adderall might have just made SWIYs symptoms worse because he wasn't allowing his body to rest, but instead put it into overdrive. The flu has been going around like crazy here and the only thing getting rid of it is lots of sleep ( in SWIM's case, she just has a weak immune system). If it doesn't get better for SWIY, SWIM would go see the doctor again. She hasnt experienced the heart or lung problems so she couldn't say much about that. Let SWIM know if SWIY stumbles upon any info about this. Hope SWIY Feels better!

if you're concerned, you need to see a doctor. Your Primary Care Physician can not call the cops on you, that would be a breach of confidentiality. What you describe does not sound like adderall related issues. You don't even need to tell them you took the drug at first, just describe your symptoms, if you want to lie, say you took way too much caffeine, you can always come clean if that doesn't work.

You could always say "I was all worked up over a school assignment and my friend offered me some of their adderall and said it would help me concentrate." This isn't as bad as "I wanted to get all high and shit"

Your health isn't worth the risk.
