Deviated septum, sinus infection...anyone share similar story?
SWIM has been using coke for the last 2 years. It became more of a habit within the last 6 months or so with SWIM using a little less than a G about once every 1-2 weeks, always while drinking. Not an obscene amount, but it adds up...
One morning SWIM had his normal stuffy nose the morning after using, but 2 months later it has still not gone away. SWIM finally saw an ENT doctor and was told he had a deviated septum. He did some research however and found that coke cannot cause a deviated septum, but it can cause holes...can anyone verify this?
SWIM also developed a sinus infection within the last 2 months. SWIM believes that he got this from doing too much blow on top of having a deviated septum (which the doc seemed to think he has had for a while).
Needless to say SWIM hasn't touched blow in over 3 months and doesn't plan on using for a long long time (if every again). SWIM feels that being able to breathe and smell well far outweighs a 20 minute rush.
Just curious to see if anyone else has any similar experiences or advice for recovery. SWIM was prescribed antibiotics for the congestion and sinus infection, and hopes SWIM will be able to breathe better once the infection is gone...
