Drug info - what did swim's spouse give them? Wierd

Swim's husband came home with a bag of what looked like small shards of broken glass. He hollowed out a lightbulb, got the white coating off the inside by swishing salt around, then he put glass/crystals inside and heated lightbulb exterior with a lighter. While doing this gave swim hollowed pen to inhale smoke from center of bulb. How wierd is that? Any ideas what it could have been?

Effects were thinking fast, did a weeks worth of housework and laundry in one night, no sleep 24 hrs and no time soon either, feelings of even more love for spouse ( but could have been because he was walking around in nothing but his boxers) Most likely the cause as always overcome with lust around him. Also, bad headache, racing thoughts.
