Swim does about ¾ a gram in a sitting, about 3 times a week but was doing less until recent. Swim finds that the first ¼ G is amazing (spread out over 1-2 hours). Then a strange thing happens

. After that it’s like the nasal membrane no longer grabs on to the powder. Of course everything is usually numb at this point, so swim doesn’t know exactly what’s happening. But swim noticed that:
1. a lot of the powder goes straight to the back of the throat and swim gets a very big “dizzy” rush as if it all just went straight there and as if it was hitting swim very hard for the first 10 seconds—nothing pleasant about that (would you feel dizzy like this is someone blew a big line from, for example, a piece of paper through your mouth to the back of your throat ?)
2. These lines that seem to not be sticking to membrane don’t do their magic very long, again making swim think most is just going to the throat. But that’s speculative.
Eight years ago Swim was doing enough skiing that it caused a minor deviated septum swim thinks. But that “deviation” was never something swim could notice in any way. A world-class doctor just happened to notice/mention it years after swim quit— swim doesn't even know if when he mentioned it it was truly something from skiing, as he just said “well as long as it’s not bothering swim it’s no problem” (wife was in the room, might not have wanted to mention coke). Swim quit for 8 years and had zero nasal problems and nothing seemed unusual.
But now that swim start skiing 8 years later he wonderers the extent of this nasal deviation. And why did swim never have this experience back when doing MORE, only now when back at it. The deviation is not something Swim can see in a mirror and if water goes in one nostril it never finds it’s way into the other.
Now that swim started, just for the past 3 month, doing about 1-2 Gs a week, spread out and not all at once, there was frequently small amounts of blood when blew/blows swim’s nose. Just a little. But it’s winter and very dry, so it could be a combo of the skiing and the dryness? In fact the blood never appears much of the time now. Better use of Saline water?
Part of swim thinks that somehow the powder is causing the nasel membranes to be BLOCKED or mixed with gook or boogers. But swim does try saline nasal mist or nasal spray while skiing and it doesn’t seem to help with the above. Remember the first 1-2 hours of skiing are A++ So…WTF????
mango added 2 Minutes and 44 Seconds later...
By the way, the quality 8 years ago was great and is also great this time.
