Experiences - Will kitty ever be able to enjoy LSD again?

Kitty has done LSD a number of times and has had amazing trips up until her boyfriend had a bad trip that sent him to the hospital.

Actually, a few weeks before her boyfriend had his bad trip.. one of her friends also had a bad trip and she had to bring him to the hospital (on acid).

Her boyfriend and friend both tried to kill themselves on acid and kitty feels that she is scarred from watching all that happen.

Now whenever Kitty tries acid she gets EXTREME anxiety and feels like she is dying or that the acid is just too strong (even with one hit!?). She feels like her mind is playing games with her because she won't hallucinate until she feels a wave of anxiety come on, then the hallucinations make her get more anxious.

Kitty wants to enjoy acid again but is too scared to try it again and have a 12 hour long panic attack.

SWIY thinks it is verry dangerous to do lsd right now...
SWIYS brain has now connected lsd with the bad situation. SWIY should try to connect the lsd with good times...

thats theory offcourse... just try to get over the whole situation and things will probably go better

Kitty needs time away from the acid... and if swiy does decide to try again, try with a tiny dose and build up (not in the same trip, over the course of a few months) until swiy is comfortable again tripping on normal doses. Of course others may argue that any amount of LSD is likely to increase your anxiety and that you should never go near it again.

Its your mind.. just be aware that the trouble you could cause may not be worth it in the long run!

Swim is actually having almost exactly the same problem under the same circumstances. Swim had to accompany his friend to the hospital (while on acid) cause his friend was so berserk. Anyway, swim was pretty traumatised by seeing his friend act in such an inhuman way. The next time swim tried acid he had a pretty unpleasant experience (100-200mic) but just sat through it and came off stronger for it. Don't take anything you experience in LSD trips as anything but paranoid irrationality: your mind is not "playing tricks on you": don't allow such paranoid thoughts to enter your head. During a bad trip, you feel anxiety/terror which tries to attach itself to things to make it stronger. For example, you may think your mind is playing tricks on you and thus feel out of control and worried but this is not the case, nothing you worry about on bad trips are ever the case, they are just your terror/anxiety attaching itself to things. Of course, if it does get attached it gets stronger and your fears become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

This knowledge didn't get rid of the anxiety for swim: it remained in the back of his mind until he managed to sleep but once he started thinking like that the panic attacks and waves of nausea and feeling faint stopped and he was more or less calm.

Swim would normally advise not doing acid again, but seeing as you have done and haven't suffered a major bad trip (correct me if i am wrong) swim's instinct is that swiy can probably handle it after a significant break.

Swim is going to have some nice experiences with MDMA and opiates before going back to acid again. The combination of a few weeks euphoria and a strengthened, prepared mindset are what swim is hoping will enable him to enjoy acid again and swim would advise that to swiy as well (although be careful with opiates).
