Oral use - Why is SWIM Not Getting Effects from Mushroom Tea?

Well, Swim's done shrooms for a while but still can't figure out this little problem.

Swim has attempted to make tea on about 4 occasions and never tripped.

Here's what swim has done.

Start boiling water in a pot.
Put the shrooms in.
Turn down the heat and let simmer for 20 min.
Strain out the shrooms and drink.

The potency of the shrooms are not the problem because swims friends would eat the shrooms that didn't get made into tea and they all tripped.

Swim just can't eat em... throw up every time.
