Effects - Obvious to family that i'm rolling on X

SWIM is going to their first rave soon. Swim is going with a parent, who will probably stay for a few hours and then go out to the car to sleep until the rave is over. The rave lasts 7 hours.

My question is, if swim were to take Ecstasy (assuming it is a clean pill, not laced) would it be obvious to SWIM's parents that he is rolling?

since there are so many signs pointing to the lack of experience for swiy i would say there is a good chance that the parent will be able to sense something is up

then again he may get lucky since the parent will be sleepy if they are roused to drive the kid home

Did the parent ever use drugs in the past? Ex-users or current users of drugs generally are more aware than drug-naive people when it comes to noticing other people on drugs. Drug-naive people who are much older, like older than 60, tend to be even more unaware of people high on drugs...From nothing more than SWIM's personal observation.

Since you will be banned shortly, here are a few helpful things you can do. Make sure to do all the research on MDMA nad be fully prepared for a roll if SWIY still is planning on and going ahead with the whole idea. Also, think twice before using where your parents can easily catch you as this can be negative.

Lastly, Red Rock does not advocate the use of drugs for anyone under 18, but if they do decide to participapte, educate yourself as much as possible!

Exactly.

If SWIY is going to make the decision to use, they should educate themselves about said substance and know in and out what it does, and why and how it does it.

The last thing SWIY wants to be dealing with is a trip to the ED because they weren't aware of hyperprexia or the effects of water intoxication.

If anyone doesn't know exactly the nature, mechanism and effects(good and bad) of anything they put into their bodies, they shouldn't be doing it.

SWIM's researched Extensively, and SWIM means EXTENSIVEly

but i just wonder about the physical effects (obviously varying from person to person), like would SWIM have a big goofy smile on s/hes face that is uncontrollable, or could SWIM control the outward symptoms.

SWIM just want to try it once as it seems pretty benign

Good call. Not to mention the potential for screwing up any federal college aid if SWIY's in the US...and/or losing the respect and trust of your parents if SWIY happens to get caught.

IMO, any parent cool enough to allow their kid to go to such an activity AND wait for them in the car deserves the respect of the kid not abusing the trust the parent has put into them.

Jumpen is my good friend (he got bannzd for putting false information) but he's just going to enjoy his show carefree without having to worry about whatis in the X or taking advantage of his parents trust. I'll show this to him sometime.

of course parents can tell when you are on drugs. they are your parents, and they will notice the tiniest changes in you.

in case the original poster happens to glance back at this thread:

think very carefully about this. surely you realize its not a good idea to be taking drugs at any age. maybe you should take a quick look around some of the members blogs, and ask yourself if you really want to risk feeling the same in a few years time.

forgive swim if they sound condescending here, that was not the intention. swim understands its everybodys own decision, but on the flipside, you need to understand that most of the time, the decision to take drugs is an extremely bad decision.

but the answer to swiy's question is YES, it will be very obvious, especially if swiy's never done it before. swiy will roll his bollocks off and swiys parent is smarter than swiy thinks. why des swiy think this parent is coming in the first place.
if swiy is taking a parent to a rave then swiy is too younge to be taking these kinds of drugs. xtc is dangerous and VERY messy. hold off untill swiy has a better head on swiys shoulders.
swim may sound like a miserable old git. but swim did too much too young. this is good advise. take it or leave it
