Unhappy Ketamine & being unable to breathe

The other night SWIM snorted about 1/3 gram of ketamine as well as about half a gram of mephedrone and 1/4 gram of something called MDBMP (not sure) but it's supposed to be like MDMA. Anyway, SWIM has done bigger lines of k before so her friend suggested we do 1/3 gram in one go each, so after a few mins SWIM went into a massive k hole. What a mistake that was, the K was alot stronger than usual and SWIM should have had a line to test it first!

Swim said it felt like she couldn't get out of the k hole for about 3 hours, was constantly throwing up (she hadn't eat for hours). Swim always throws up when she takes k no idea why because she is an experienced user.

After about 2 hours or so she had to keep going outside to get fresh air, she felt like she couldn't breathe and no air was going into her lungs. She said it's the first time something like this has happened and it was a pretty scary experience. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else, is it dangerous (can you die?) and what the cause of it may be?

Re: Ketamine & being unable to breathe

The tag line SWIM believes from erowid is - "know your body, Know your mind, Know your drug", It is a statement very worthy of remembering for all occasions.

Taking an unknown drug is never good, combining it with others is worse. How did SWIY arrive at the dose of 1/4g?

Its quite likely whatever "MDBMP" was, that it was a research chem, there are a number that are like ecstasy in some ways, but such chemicals often have very very low doses.

Please be safer in future!

Peace

Re: Ketamine & being unable to breathe

This archive came up in google, probably aught get alfa's attention on this. 3,4-methylenedioxybenzyl-N'-methylpiperazine is what he called it.

Overall sounds like some foolishness here. You had a drug with no information attached to it and mixed it with not one, but two other drugs. So who knows what caused the issues.

Re: Ketamine & being unable to breathe

Taking retardedly huge doses of 3 different drugs and nearly dying should not really be a surprise... ketamine is an anaesthetic, of course you're going to stop breathing if you take too much...

And as for puking, when i take my cat to the vets for an opertation, i'm told not to feed her the night before, as the anaesthetic used (it might be ketamine) can have the side effect of making animals puke up when they're under

Re: Ketamine & being unable to breathe

ketamine alone is phsyically safe even in massive doses. You won't stop breathing any more than you will while you are sleeping. This combo is very reckless and stupid especially without first testing with tiny doses. Whenever experimenting with a new combo start with *tiny* doses to gauge your response. Many substances potentiate each other x10+
