Terrified of life without benzos.

SWIM was prescribed Temazerpam in 1985 after loosing there dad.SWIM found out very quickly that he could get a buzz of them,so the spiral beggan.SWIM was all ready smoking weed and glue but the benzos WERE great.SWIM progressed onto srooms and acid,then came ecstacy(the second summer of love).By around late 1991 SWIM had got into coke and had started using heroin to come down with(on top of the benzos)SWIM had an old style GP who thought benzos were miraculous(so did SWIM)and slowly but surely the doseage increased.Towards the end of the 90's SWIM had a serious heroin problem and registered as an addict and onto a methadone script so CDT took over prescribing the benzos,and so to the present.SWIM is off the crack and smack,he is also of the meth and after 24yrs of daily benzo use and abuse is being reduced down,and SWIM is absolutely terrified,he has not spent a single day of his adult life without Temazerpam/Nitrazerpam or as of now Diazerpam due to the CDT swapping SWIMs Ts and Ns for Diazerpam as they reduce him.swim IS SHITTING HIMSELF!!

Swiy is a lot stronger than he gives himself credit for.After all swiy has kicked the habit & that is a huge achievement.Swims tried to get off methadone many times & every time she failed.
Swim thinks its much easier coming off of benzos than opiates.She was on diazepam & nitrazepam for about 30 years but when she decided she didn`t want to be on them anymore she just stopped.First the diazepam & that was no problem at all.Then a few months later the nitrazepam though she had tapered from 2 at night down to half a pill a night & that was no problem either.
Years ago swim stopped the nitrazepam without tapering & didn`t sleep a wink for 2 weeks.Apart from that she found it easy.
However,unlike swiy whos buzzed on them swims never felt anything except for some relief from anxiety,so she felt as if she wasn`t giving up a pleasurable drug but rather she stopped taking medication that she no longer wanted to be on.
Swim knows people who panic at the mere suggestion of stopping their benzos & knows that for some people its very hard.However swiys stopped the opiates & swim thinks that there is nothing harder to kick than them,& if swiy can do that,then swim thinks the benzos wont be a problem.

my interpretation of glue, is that its a slang term for smokable speed.
