Can amphetamine use result in abnormal thryoid tests? Particularly the T4 and something called RDW under cell profile?

RDW= red cell distribution weight. Used to track different sorts of anemia. Just FYI.

THX. SWIY had thje thryoid removed and Dr. said the tests said completely normal though SWIY has gained 40lbs. even with a daily dose of 10mg.-30mgs. of Dextroamphetamine. Seems odd. Doc said no additional hormone therapy was needed and SWIY eats litle.
