Purity - How impure can it get?

Let's say your cocaine is 5-10% pure. I know that means less of it will actually be absorbed. But would 5-10% pure cocaine be useless?

Swim is asking because the general consensus here is that a quarter gram of cocaine is a pretty average line...swim even has friends that have snorted a gram at once.

I know, swim should do an acetone wash, but he lacks a credit card at the moment to buy stuff online, or a house of his own so he can use the oven to heat up some epitome salts without his parents finding out.

Swim has had nothing but similar experiences with coke himself. He's even done half a gram and felt nothing before. And this is a reliable dealer he gets his pills and marijuana from(although, he doesn't buy coke from him anymore).

So basically, is cocaine just plain ruined once it gets so impure? Or is swim just getting ripped off and not getting coke at all? Swim didn't really know if he got a numbing sensation or not when he put it on his tongue and gums, or if it was just all the cuts drying out his mouth and making it feel funny.

E.T suggests next time put the purchased item on a spoon, little amonia and heat it. should leave swiy with oil spots in the amonia, if not swiy must buy somewhere else

Very low purity coke is not “completely” useless; it can be snorted if SWIY is willing to put all the other crap on his nose, it can also dissolved in water, filtered and injected, but with such crap product is better purify it.

250mg rails should not be the average with relatively good stuff (around 70% purity), more like 75-150mg for an average user depending how strong the effect is desired, snorting a gram at once means either massive tolerance or 10% purity at most and it’s a waste since with so much powder clogging nose absorption would be very low.

The only way to test the purity (or if there is any coke at all) is to purify it and see what is left, also dropping about 100mg in water would reveal how much of the powder is insoluble cuts and most soluble cuts take longer to dissolve than cocaine hydrochloride which one of the most soluble substances, 50mg takes around 3 seconds to completely dissolve in water.

Alright. Cool. Well not really cool..but that's what I thought. Swim wants to try some real soft. Not this shit he's getting. He feels so gross snorting all that shit up his nose. Swim even tries railing half up each nostril and doesn't get any better effects. He probably got completely ripped off He's done a lot of speed. So he's assuming he'd have some idea of what good coke would feel like..
