Hash brownies- overdose?

Background: Swim has smoked cannabis about 100 times but wanted to try eating it. Swim had smoked a joint the previous day, so might have had a bit of tolerance.

Dosage: hard to approximate, but about 1/16th - 1/8 of a gram ingested by swim (his friend took the same amount and had roughly the same tolerance)

Swim's friend made the mixture (hash brownies) and baked it- it tasted god awful but swim forced it down.

-20 mins: No effect for Swim or swim's friend

-30-35 mins: swim's friend is laughing around the place like a mad man. still no effects whatsoever for swim

-about 40 mins: This all happened very fast. An intensely strange and horrible feeling came over swim: A wave of headache, sickness, anxiety and slight physical pain washed all him. He felt poisoned- he literally felt his veins on fire- and felt intensely anxious, despite remaining calm and taking deep breaths. anyway, literally 30 seconds or so after he started feeling that way, he felt enveloped in warmth and a buzzing/ringing noise started welling up in his ears. A few seconds after that started, swim passed out for (his friend later told him) about 20 seconds during which his eyes were closed and he was apparently mumbling a "buzz buzz" sound.

Then swim woke up, realised he had fainted and started trying to reduce the disorientation. Then swim felt overwhelming nausea, and was violently sick. Immediately after being sick, swim felt 99% better again, with just a slight headache- the effects had virtually totally subsided. Swim's friend, once sure swim was alright, proceeded to roll around laughing.

-1 hour: swim smoked a bit of the remaining hash to make sure it was the real deal, and got stoned as he normally does.

Is this a typical overdose reaction? Swim wants to try it again but wants to dispel any fears about having some kind of physical problem with eating hash.

Re: Hash brownies- overdose?

To swim , the amount taken is basically nothing ? 1/8 th of a gram that is hardly anything, swim wouldnt even get stoned of that amount by smoking it, And tbh swim doesnt know anyone that would, Swim cant see how this would affect you at all.

Re: Hash brownies- overdose?

Hash has a higher THC content than normal buds and anyway swim really can't approximate well how much he ingested. What would an overdose for someone with average tolerance be?

What i really want to know is: does my experience sound like a normal overdose experience?

Re: Hash brownies- overdose?

in swim's opinion, the experience sounds somewhat typical. swim has developed severe nausea, lightheadedness, dizziness, and "buzzing" ears after smoking excessive amounts of marijuana. in almost (but not every) every case, swim had combined marijuana with tobacco and/or alcohol. swim would think that swiy had a similar reaction to excessive consumption. it is likely nothing to worry about. of course, if symptoms repeat themselves, it might be best just to avoid said method of ingestion.
