Aspirin, how dangerous?

Someone who isn't me bought a whole bunch of Codeine/Aspirin pills [8mg codeine, 400mg aspirin]. I've heard they were Boots own brand. Swim, a 64kg male is wondering how much aspirin would be dangerous and whether he would experience any side effects from 13 pills [5200mg aspirin]?

Apparently 150mg/kg is the lowest toxic dose so theoretically 9600mg aspirin would be safe - any verification?
