Effects - Question about methadones

SWIMs friend likes 10 mg methadones but the only thing SWIM can get now is waffers. But SWIM and his friend likes to I.V. every thing and SWIM ain't never did methadones. But would I.V.ing a quarter of a waffer be the same as I.V.ing a 10 mg? SWIMs friend said it is different but SWIM don't think it would be different. SWIM knows this is probably a stupid question but if any one could help SWIM he would be thankful

Methadone is usually scripted to former addicts. It is meant to be taken orally therefore it will work the best that way. If SWIY only likes to IV something why not just IV drugs that are better for IV use? SWIM dosent recomend IV use of methadone, liquid or pill form there are so many binders and fillers.

and 1/4 of 40mg = 10mg but SWIM has heard that sometimes pills arent distributed EXACTLY evenly, for example in a wafer maybe 1 half has 21mg and the other half has 19mg. Also SWIY might not be breaking into exact perfect quarters, making it a little off. Not a huge difference but it might make a tiny tiny bit of a difference as dosing goes.
