Injecting - Hyrdomorphone

Thanks for all the informative posts guys! Im new so bear with me, trying to adhere to these rather strict rules I am finding. I'll introduce where I am at since this is my first post, but my questions, see below, are pretty straightforward.

so 'a friend' lol... has chronic pain bone pain (resulting from a shattered heel bone) but also enjoys using various prescription opiates to get a nice buzz.

For a while (he) could only get trams where he was... really didn't help the pain or produce a buzz, but built up the beginnings of a tolerance. Its still very low though, especially compared to others here.

been using oxycodone recently. anywhere from 10-30mgs a day. Combination of sniff and oral.

(BTW, take this time to say I have found zopiclone (immovane) to be a good potentiator (ifs thats the right word?) for opiates. Just 7.5mgs or even less. Its non OTC, but pretty easy to get (its a non-benzodiazepine - although the effects are effectively the same - prescribed for insomnia) Makes the buzz much more pronounced.)

Doctor just decided to try changing to hydromorphone (diluadid in Canada).

Started on 1mg, but said to adjust the dose (will probably go up to 5mg), and get back to her when the right amount is found. Still hasn't filled prescription, finishing off the oxy's first while learning more about HM.

So my two questions:

First, what are your opinions specifically on snorting HM? Good? Bad? Better than Oxys?

Second, I have heard IV is best for HM. How does one go about doing this? 'He's' injected other things before, no problem with it, but is it a simple procedure of crushing the pill and mixing it with water, or are other preparations involved?

hydromorphone is as simple to inject as just crushing it up as fine as possible and adding water and DO NOT heat it up just suck it up in the syringe and let er rip. SWIM gets the 8mg pills and usually IVs 2 and gets an amazing rush and thats about it. that is the downside to hydromorphone is it is just a rush and nothing more. SWIM calls it the crack of opiates. for a longer and better but less intense experience SWIM wwill IV an 80mg oxycontin or some heroin.


SWIM Ivd 80mg of oxycontin an hour ago and is constantly nodding and has to concentrate in order to write this message.

SWIm will have to give a mix of hydromorphone and oxycodone sometime for that bang pof the rush and the longevity of oxycodone.

when it comes to snorting hydromorphone it is different than oxycodone in SWIMs opinion it is just as good if not better than oxycodone its more of a personal preference than one being better than the other. some customers of SWIMs prefer oxycontin and some prefer the dilaudids. SWIM loves both
