Wierd Drink

Swim has gone a little crazy with ingredients for this drink and wants to find if there are any interactions between any of these:

choco
milk
water
valerian
ginseng
passionflower
kava
paracetamol
brandy
sugar
coffee
toffee
grape alcohol

Unless SWIM has researched the interactions them self, they at least want to loose the passionflower as its a MAIO inhibitor.

To make a good cake, you take certain ingredients in certain quantities, not what ever is on your shelf; beans, ketchup, deodorant etc. The same is true for drugs!

When SWIM says you should at least loose the passionflower from the recipe, that in no way means the remaining concoction would be in anyway safe, let alone fun or pleasant.

Doesn't sound too bad taste wise. Pretty bad in terms of the 'drugs' used, SWIM has created some pretty bizarre conncoctions in his time.
When SWIM was younger he used to make bizzarre alcoholic drinks by taking small amounts of all his parents alcohol so they didn't notice. (chocolate laquer, beer, brandy, wine and ribena he remembers being one of the worst). Sorry going off topic there.

Can I please ask why paracetamol? are you pain?. I'm pretty sure alcohol and paracetamol don't mix well. Liver damage SWIM recalls but he might be wrong. If SWIY has already mixed up the drink then good luck but I strongly advise removing the paracetamol as it will do the square root of fuck all.

That has to taste disgusting. Why would you drink that all together? Nobody makes some pretty complicated potions, but puts a lot of work into the taste and as a result people will ask for more. But that, that's got to be foul as hell.

Don't Mix Paracetamol (acetaminophen) with Anything!

It's a metabolite of acetaminophen that is toxic. This metabolite is conjugated with glutathione and flushed from the body. One only has so much glutathione stores in reserve. So, one might be okay taking that much once or twice, but combined with anything that conjugates with glutathione can be pretty bad. Once those glutathione stores are depleted, its the fast track to major toxicity.

And the passionflower and kava probably don't have enough MAOIs to be of much concern. For the passionflower are we talking the flowers? or the roots and leaves?
