Culture - UK cannabis law change (C to B) will it effect SWIYs smoking?

With the recent law change in the UK (that came into effect at the end of Jan) putting cannabis back to a class B drug.
SWIM wonders if it will effect any UK DFers use of the drug.

Personally SWIM does not think it will effect his use, but currently his situ in real life has decreased his smoking anyway.

So over to you guys n gals, will it effect you?

It wont effect SWIMS smoking but will make him more weary when buying as he is on thin thin ice anyway.

It'll make one get to know ones newer friends alot better before one can divulge himself as a source and grower. Currently only 5 of the aformentioned mans friends know.
As for usage? Na!

Same as ever, when going for a smoke carry very little, carry NO ID and don't resist. If you've no record, why worry?

It wont effect swims smoking, i am on thin ice aswell but to be honest ive never been caught wit cannabis so untill i do Swim not to worried lol

it wont affect SWIM smoking, it didnt before when it was class B so why would it now...people will always smoke bud as humans have for hundreds if not thousands of years. laws do not really affect things.

Not at all, they could make it Class A if they wanted, it would not stop SWIM smoking nor anyone he knows

14 votes for 'won't effect SWIM', zero for all the others. Hardly surprising. The British government are only fooling themselves if they think a change in classification will curb cannabis use. So many different people smoke it from so many different sectors of society. The only ones who'll be effected are the ones who are regularly targeted by the law, most likely chavs.

SWIM is a little more cautious when transported his cannabis from his dealer's to his home (usually tapes it to his ballsack/inside leg which his dealer laughs at him for). Other than that SWIM does sort of feel SWIM should smoke more just to stick two fingers up to that sour faced bitch jacqui smith (although he does whenever she comes and telly and shouts at the screen alot).

It does worry SWIM they may crack down on growers personal and commercial.

5 people already, that's pretty stupid mate, number one rule of growing TELL NOBODY. second rule of growing TELL NOBODY. Divulge SWIYself as a source but don't tell everybody. ever heard the phrase "Two people can keep a secret. If one of them is dead". You're asking to get busted. telling five people if the all told 2 then ten know if those ten all tell two that's twenty and so on. You benefit nothing from boating about your grow.

Just tell SWIY's friends that you have a new source of fantastic bud for great prices.

Agreed^^^^, why would you ever tell anyone that your growing, swim knows a few peaple who have been caught because of that very reason, if swim was swiy i would not of told those 5 peaple.

If SWIY is actually growing, it is often something that you are quite proud of and excited about. Obviously someone who tells everyone they know that they are growing is going to get caught, but SWIM would expect most people who grow tell at least somebody.

When SWIM was growing he was very paranoid and very conscious of the risks of getting caught, but still couldn't resist telling his closest friends (none of whom betrayed SWIM and all of whom he is still good friends with 5 years on.).

An additional factor was while growing SWIM was having to tell a hell of alot, to parents, other freinds etc and being completely honest with some people made it easier to lie to others, SWIM wishes he could explain that better, but currently cant.


Of course telling no one vastly reduces SWIM/SWIYs risks of being caught, but its far from the only factor.
