Inhaling - Nitrous: How long do you hold it?

When I first tried it I thought it would be the same as inhaling
marijuana... I heard that all the THC is absorbed by 3-5 seconds, and
after 7 seconds carbon monixide and tar absorbtion rates increase
expoentially. But that doesn't really make sense, because the only
times that I've really gotten high were when I held it for as long as I
could.



Anyway how long do I hold nitrous in for? All that shit about how it
can cause you to suffocate without knowing it scares me. But I imagine
that I could counter that by taking in a little bit of oxygen with my
hit.
