Smoking - "Cinnamon Weed" (Spice??)

SWIM has heard of weed that is supposedly 5x stronger than normal weed.
This weed smells of Cinnamon and is apparently legal in the UK. It is sold in a
record shop in SWIMs city with other cannabis paraphernalia and the guy
behind the counter isnt afraid to show the merchandise so this leads SWIM to
believe that it must be legal.

SWIM knows people who have tried this "WEED". They smoke normal weed
and they say that this stuff is really good. SWIM doesnt smoke weed but it is
not expensive so he is tempted to try it just for the craic.

Has SWIY heard of or tried this type of weed? If so, what did SWIY think of
it?

Average potency is around 12% to 15%, with higher grades reaching 20% or maybe a little more.

This means that a 5X potency marijuana would be almost if not more than 100% cannabinoids. Not possible.

It is also illegal in the UK, so if this is legal, it is not marijuana. If someone is showing it to swiy, then it is not marijuana, or they are trying to set swiy up and then BUST - the next thing cutting off circulation on swiy's wrists is a pair of handcuffs. The former is more likely.

I would disagree slightly. I would say it is extremely likely this is a product similar to Spice - namely synthetic quasi-legal cannaboids such as JWH-018 applied to a base of legal herbs.

In short, if you want to try these new synthetic cannaboids - just buy them online to ensure controlled purity and dose. It will also likely be much, much cheaper.

SWIM says thank you for the reply SWIM knew that this cinnamon stuff
wasnt real weed. he worded the original post wrongly, he is sorry. SWIM has
heard of Spice on DF. That is probably what it is.

Whatever the stuff is, SWIM heard that it is good shit and he is going to give
it a go. Does SWIY know of any side effects this stuff may have?

Phaze has a funny story that he can relate to "cinnamon weed". He went to a headshop and bought some tobacco flavouring, it was also cinnamon. Well his friend had the same weed that phaze had at the time due to the most common reason, it came from the same place and they had went half on it.

So he takes some of this cinnamon flavouring and puts a few drops on a bowl and waits for his friend to arrive. When he gets there he tells him that he bought some weed that day that was extremely high priced and he only had a bowl of it left.

His friend hits the bowl a few times and recognizes that it taste like cinnamon. Phaze told him thats what the guy sold it to him as and he said it was fire. Phaze told him it is indeed fire and that the guy wasnt lien and laughed.

About 10 minutes later phazes friend is completely blown, laughing uncontrollably and saying that the cinnamon weed was the shit that he wanted some more of it. Phaze spills the beans and told him, it was the same weed he already has so its a good thing he likes it. His friend argued with him for about 15 minutes and phaze decided gig was up and showed him the bottle of cinnamon flavouring. They both had a laugh about that.

Placebo is an amazing thing.
