None of the suppliers will send cuttings, plants, or seeds into the U.S
do to the illegality. Same as most suppliers. If you live in Canada, you can order these freely from cactus stores. Now if you happen to have a friend there that will remail to you, well that's different. If you don't mind waiting a couple years for your seeds to grow that is. Or if you obtain a cutting and graft it onto a fast grower. |

Please note that mescaline is a scheduled drug in Canada. Since psilocybin and psilocin are also scheduled, mescaline cacti are in the same legal position as magic mushrooms are: the active compounds are illegal, but the plants are unlisted. If mescaline cacti are legal in Canada, so are magic mushrooms. If magic mushrooms are illegal in canada, so are mescaline cacti. I've seen several files of canadian magic mushroom cases, where magic mushrooms where considered as the active substances themselves. I guess that if authorities would take a closer look on it, they would consider mescaline cacti either illegal or rethink their approach to magic mushrooms.

Re: legality of mescaline cacti in Canada
the letter of the law, on the governments list of controlled subs says Lophophora williamsii is specifically excluded (probably for religious reasons). so L. williamsii is 100% legal for sure, others are grey areas.
you can find the list through google pretty quick on the govs site ![]() speaking of canada btw. |
