Swim is a chipper and tries to avoid any illness and withdrawl symptoms by controling his intake.
Swim knows all to well its easy to cock this up and end up with a habit

So swim would like to get a discussion going on how people maintain chipping on heroin and also people who have failed.

To start swim will explain his past...
swim was on H full time for a few years from the age of 17
swim used to IV. Swim got clean and just had the odd bag when he stumbled on it once or twice a year.

Swim almost got a habit again 4 years ago when he got a regular dealer.

Swim thought about it long and hard and decided to attempt to structure his use.

Swim has a regular supply now and has been chipping for about 2 years.

Swim has had some trial and error and had to do quite a few withdrawls in this time, but the thing is he has alwasy made sure he has done them.

Swim has noted the following patterns to his use and withdrawl symtoms
If swim is using more than once a month i.e weekly/fortnightly swim can't take H 2 days in a row without some form of withdrawl symptoms.
If swim is using less than once a month he can get away with 2 days use and not get sick.

Swim often takes a holiday and commits to 1-2 months off, normally by deleting the dealers number and avoiding contact with them areas.

Swim hits half and smokes half.
Swim often enjoys a stone with this ritual sometimes using more in value in stone if he has just been paid.
