Lightbulb Tramadol easier to get than opiates?

Hello fellow Swimmers!

SWIM has some terrible migraine "headaches"...I already covered the subject but SWIM just moved to Calgary and he doesn't have access to his Heroin hookup anymore...these migraines are INCREDIBLY painful and only 35-40mg of Oxycodone and the heroin have been able to kill the migraines.

SWIM recently found the only Triptan (Sumatriptan "Imitrex DF") that will stop the migraine at it's onset. Sadly it doesn't stop it once the migraine is started...and SWIM has no other choice than using opiates.

Another problem is that SWIM doesn't have any insurance to support the insane cost of the Triptan based drugs. He's been using around 250mg of codeine to reduce the pain and get to sleep it off...

SWIM is trying to find alternatives that might be more accessible to him...
He thinks that Tramadol might be easier to get compared to other opiates.

SWIM would like to receive information about the potential of Tramadol for relieving SWIM's pain. He is not looking to be high (although he would like to...:P) but rather help him get a better quality of life...

+ Thanks a lot,
// Sunny Hours

Re: Tramadol easier to get than opiates?

Hello this is Shanghi gal under biges account. Swim has had Migranes since she was 13 years old.And tryed everything over the years. Finaly after going to a very good doctor he put swim on Atenolol for high blood presure and believe it or not after being on the atenlol for a few months my Migranes were gone. I have not had a bad Migrane for a few years now. Before that the only thing that worked was a shot of demerol from the er. Hope that helps you out.
