2 yr. old roots vs. 5 yr.

Swim was thinking of getting micronized kava. One site says their roots are 2 yrs. old and the reviews from people that tried it are great. Another sight says the roots should be at least 5 yrs. old. )ant exported Vanuatu kava must be at least 5 yrs. old). Can those 2 yr. roots be as good as some of the users claim?
