"Bouts" of tripping?
Hello. So, my cat is 19 years old and had never done drugs. Being a cat he is curious so he tried alcohol this year twice. He said it was great, two of the most fun experiences in his life. My cat didn't stop here and smoked some weed two days ago. Since then my cat seems trippy. If he sprints or sometimes is just walking he gets "trippy", like he can't walk straight. Much like drunk cats (including him) lose balance. My cat asks if this is normal? It had not happened before he smoked weed but now has been happening everyday!
Also, my cat apologizes, english is not his nativ language. |

Re: "Bouts" of tripping?
Was your cats weed possibly laced? Swim has smoked for 9 years and has not experienced nor come across this b4.
Sometimes swim will see objects move (like the grout in floor tiles in a bathroom) they almost drift in one direction. Swim has done alot of drugs though and does not think the weed had anything to do with it. Mabey the Ecstacy/acid/shroomz/meth/dilleriants Sleep depravation causes this to happen to swim as well. DAMN SWIM JUST RELIZED HE HAS BEEN SMOKING WEED FOR ALMOST A DECADE!!!!!!!!!!! (mabey swim should donate his brain and lungs to science!!!!!!!!) ~yea right LOL |

Re: "Bouts" of tripping?
Weed definitely made SWiM's cat feel weird after the first time.
The next day he tracers, but nothing too bad. |

Re: "Bouts" of tripping?
Sunmoons cats English is very good, better than some posts made by native English speakers! So no apologies necessary.
In SWIMs experience this is not normal after smoking cannabis. You should ask your cat how many days this has been happening for, If its only been a for a few days and it then goes away SWIM would not worry about it any further. Peace G |

Re: "Bouts" of tripping?
It likely wasn't laced. If this is the first time your cat ever got high, he might just be riding the wave of life on a brand new surfboard - and be hella excited about doing so.
![]() He will probably come back to 'normal', more or less, within a couple days. I think that he still thinks about the experience, and thus evokes parts of it at times in his mind. He will never completely be like he used to be, because, well, every next experience changes the individual who experienced it. That's what experiences are. Riddeeeee that wave.... please do.. carry on....
