So SWIM has a friend who sell's some ecstasy. SWIM does not know if it is pure MDMA (Doubt it), but would like to try some anyways.

SWIM is a bit' scared of taking a whole pill, and was thinking of taking 1/4 or 1/3 of a pill to see how it ecstasy feels. How long would that last?

SWIM is 140 pounds, 5'11. SWIM does not want his parents knowing that he is on E so SWIM wants to take a dose that is high enough to feel affects but low enough so it will not last more than 3-4 hours.

What would SWIY recommend?

One whole pill is probably the minimum it would take to affect swiy. Taking only half of a "good" quality pill would probably have no effect. Assuming a good quality pill has 100 mg of MDMA, half of that would be pointless. Here's the catcher- Most pills do not contain 100 mg of MDMA. Most pills contain much less, meaning the user needs to take more than one pill to achieve the desired effects. Here's the second catcher- these pills could also contain other less desirable ingredients besides MDMA. For this reason ingesting multiple pills can be potentially dangerous.

Swim would suggest waiting for an occasion where swiy will not have to encounter his/her parents. Swim would also recommend taking a whole pill. Swim would also recommend testing the pill before he/she consumes it. This is the only way to determine the contents of a pill. A testing kit can be purchased online.

Definitely agreeing on the one pill amount. The high will last the same amount of time regardless of the dose as long as it's a reasonable dose like in this case. SWIY will be able to come out of it and respond to sober people/play it cool after 2-3 hours even though effects will last longer than this. And it will be fun to do it too! And like julian said, testing kits are a great way to ensure that the pill SWIY gets contains some sort of MDMA like substance and shouldn't be overlooked as an unnecesary precaution, there are too many fake pills out there which would cause a beaufiful experience to turn strenuous and unrewarding.

And we also have idiots wondering why their pills remind them of a time they snorted adderall instead of being this beautiful lovey experience. OR worse yet, as seems to be the standard in the england atm, they say they just got some energy then had a massive headache and body pains the next day. SWIM would rather spend a little bit of money to test the pill then to end up with a shitty experience wondering what went wrong and freaking out of what was in SWIM's pill.

nowadays 99.9% of pills have next to zero mdma in.
but even with a good clean pill swiy should take at least 1.
but be warned, swiy will feel a great urge to do more and more after swiy has peaked, but 1 more will not have the same effect.
if swiy wants to just test it, swim would advise doing just 1 and if that isnt enough try maybe 1 or 2 later in the night (be patient).
if swiy wants to really feel the power of E, then swim would advise a double drop and leave it at that.
but as i said most pills are not clean and not pure. so who knows what swiy will be getting. every pill has its own strength.
OR, better still, dont do it at all.

those are some pretty exagerrated claims| please do not speak for the rest of the world if the local ecstasy pills fail to meet the standards of a pleasant mdma dose|also a first timer is good for sticking with one pill and really should never need to redose

SWIMs first time he only took half a pill(purple budha) and could feel it pretty good. SWIM doesnt recall how long it lasted as this was a long time ago but it was a good amount of time. If swiy is rolling at all swiy parents just have to look at the eyes and they will know something is up. Anyway though swiy should be good of of one pill. Rolling is a great time if you get a good pill swim says!

according to swims first time experiance. swiy should take at least 75% of the pill. effects will probably last longer than 4 hours, but the noticeable ones wont.

anyways, raverhippie put it best in his first reply.

although, i wouldnt want to have parents annoying me on the best experiance ever (swims first time was the best )

HOMERSIMPSON has never taken a pill that dosent contain mdma, or so he believes from the high quality high he felt.


First time HOMER took pills, he started with 1 because of the fear of taking too much, ended up taking 3 more that night. Start with 1, its highly unlikely that it will be enough to fuck SWIM up.
