TEK - Can Vicoprofen be CEW'd?

yes SWIM used the search figure, found nothing. He figured someone here might know.........can vicoprofen be cold-water extracted, leaving a relatively ibuprofen-free liquid full of hydrocodone that can be evaporated or cooked off at under 176 degrees to produce a snortable powder, as with vicodin? SWIM would really love to see a few well informed answers to his post in the morning, but he must sleep now (Halcion, Diazepam etc etc)

SWIM is in a rush, so regrets not being able to give a better answer, but hydrocone is freely soluble in water and so can be CWE'd, as long as all the usual CWE requirements are met (i.e. effervescent tablets aren't used).

As for the evaporation, SWIY will need to find out more because the temperatures that opiates are able to withstand will vary from substance to substance (and SWIM works in degrees celcius so doesn't understand how hot 176 degrees farenheight is). but using a very low temperature, or simple leaving the solution out to evaporate with a large surface are should be fine.

For every
100 degrees Fahrenheit = 37.7777778 degrees Celsius


To answer the actual question. . .
If ibuprofen is not water soluble then a CWE could still be performed. One would probably use a gentle heat to help to separate the ibuprofen and binder syrup from the Opiate in question. Do not let the heat go above the recommended heat for Opiates. I.E: no boiling or bubbling, keep it under that temperature. Preferably at about 80c (176f)

Ibuprofen like acetaminophen is only slightly water soluble and can be extracted using a CWE.
