Cigars or Cigarettes?

Which do you prefer, i personally like a nice tipped cigar, though I tend to inhale it like a cigarette and I get a really good nicotine high but if I smoke to much i feel like shit. Does anyone know which has more added chems a cigarette or a cigar? and plus a cigar is just a nickel away from a blunt

I quit smoking cigarettes but I enjoy a good cigar once in awhile. Though many claim they taste like shit, there is something in the smoke that I like. Perhaps I just miss smoking cigarettes. Nicotine is also obsorbed if you hold the smoke in your mouth, so that might be part of it.

Every now and then i can surely appreciate a good pure cigar (100% tobacco only please), i like it when i light it to see the smoke crawl up in the sky (it seems to hypnotize me ), to smell, taste the smoke and feel the effects in my brain, it can be very relaxing and good for my ability to concentrate on things.

Cigarettes? : i don't like all those added (artificial) aromas, the stuff they add to improve the burning, the stuff they add to make the nicotine go faster in the brain, etc.
And the most disturbing thing of all: they are finished so quickly... (when i'm at the point of really being in to it, having a nice nicotine buzz, they are gone...)

i like the effects of tobacco in my brain but i don't like its physically narrowing effects in my nose, throat and bronchial tubes

QUESTION: "is/isn't it possible to put the psychologically active ingredients of tobacco in pills?!?"
then we wouldn't "have" to smoke it...Edited by: george

Cigarettes. The tobacco is a lot easier to smoke. I don't smoke tobacco on its own but I do make hash/bacco cocktail joints. Cigarette tobacco is perfect for these but cigar tobacco is unsmokable with hash.

Cigarettes taste awful. I also like to get a nice headbuzz when I smoke, and whenever I inhale that much that fast from a cigarette, it makes me very uncomfrtable and antsy afterwards.

My favorite thing to smoke are Dannemann Cigarillos. I HIGHLY suggest picking up a pack of Dannemann Sweets or Dannemann Moods. Very well-made, a product of Germany with tobacco grown in Brasil.

none, as they both taste like shit.....althought I wouldn't mind trying a nice high quality cigar, as most of the cigars I have tried were on the cheap and nasty side.

I perfer cigarettes, basically because I've been smoking them for about a year now, i guess as we all know nicotine is quite an addictive substance. I've only smoked a few cigar's in my life, and all of them were flavored. I guess i feel weird when i smoke a cigar, since there pretty big, and it's just much easy to drive down the street and smoke a cigarette instead of a cigar. Yet, to answer your question, Cigar's are worse for you, because ofcourse, they are bigger which means they have more tobacco within them.

Hello, im new to the forum.

I like cigarettes more, but cigars are like...well, for a special occasion, i get the feeling i have a good excuse for smoking cigars, since they are sort of so...fancy. I dunno. Cigarettes are for when youre doing normal things, cigars for when you have done something great.

Cigars, and not gas station cigars. Good ones.

There's different kinds. Cubans may be too "coarse" for a lot of people.

I like cigerettes, especially when i drink. Oh yeah and when i golf I like tend to enjoy smoking a cigar more.

But to answer your question on more added chems: I was at work yesterday and seen the owner of the nearest cigar/cigerette shop i goto. We satarted bullshiting and he invited me to a promotional cigar tasting. He told me that cigars are much better on your health because they have lest additives. He said the acidity in a cigerette is much higher then a cigar which makes cigerettes a lot worse and cigars much healthier. I hope this helps a little.

I never liked cigarettes much myself. I didn't get the buzz everyone got from them, they didn't relieve my stress, tasted like shit, and lasted about 2 minutes. Cigars, however, have a nice taste I think, and last a good while. After swim does something like dxm, blow, rolls, or whatever, he likes to smoke SOMETHING to get a good taste in his mouth, so he usually gets the cheap gas station cigars like Black 'n Milds or White Owls whatever looks good at the moment. Unless of course there's a tobacco shop open nearby, then he takes his time with a good selection.

Re: Cigars or Cigarettes?

SWIM uses nicotine products only occasionally. Cigarettes are more convenient, require less of a commitment in time, and one can find a tolerable brand for pretty cheap....

....however, I would take a good cigar any day. Takes 40 minutes to smoke, but when it's good, it's good. Spending like $20 on something you're only going to smoke once seems ludicrous to all my regular-smoker friends, but I've had cigars that amazed me with their taste.

Plus, even though you're not inhaling, there's a lot of nicotine in there.

Pipe. It tastes better, costs less (1/8th - 1/4 the price of cigarettes) and is easier on my lungs.

Re: Cigars or Cigarettes?

SWIM's a rolling baccy man, although hopes to cease this habit soon through other methods of nicotine intake.
SWIM believes cigars should be healthier on the body as one smokes less of them compared to cigs and only damages the mouth as opposed to the mouth and lungs, LOL!
He does find it very hard to resist inhaling cigar smoke however which is probably more harmful than smoking fags.
