Experiences - First Time Salvia divinorum Experience

Alright, so I'm new here and also new to Salvia, but I thought i'd share my first experience.



I just recieved one gram of 10x salvia from a web vendor today (very
good service and product, I'm impressed!) and decided to give some
salvia a try. I loaded my bong with a good sized pinch (I'd say
1/15 a gram), lit it up with my butane torch-lighter and pulled myself
a huge hit.



I gagged on it a little, but I managed to keep it in my lungs. I
had been holding it in for about 15 seconds, when I began to feel a
sort of pulsing sensation throughout my lungs and chest; like waves of
energy. I held the hit for as long as I could (probably 20-25),
then exhaled, blowing it through my fan and out my dorm window.



I instantly knew that the rumors I had heard about Salvia were
true. I was extremely confused, scared and startled by a pulling
sensation, and I immediately stood up. My sitter (D) asked me how
it was. I said I felt kinda strange (HUGE understatement).
I noticed a loud buzzing noise coming from my bed, and I asked what the
noise was... As I got closer, I realized it was the very distored sound
of my fan. I thought "Wow... This stuff is no joke."



I told my friend to leave the room "I'm alright, I just need to lay
down for a while." He left, and I climbed under my covers and
closed my eyes. Suddenly I was in a different place. I was
looking down on two people; one a cashier and the other was a man
reaching up to where I was, taking things down to his level.
Although I was not able to look to my left or right, out of my
peripheral vision I saw newspapers and magazines. "I'M A
NEWSPAPER!!!!", I thought. An impressive hallucination. I
felt myself being sucked off the "shelf" that I was on, and back into
reality. I opened my eyes and saw my room. I was still
feeling strange, but not like before.



I relaxed in my bed for a while, before getting up to share my
experience with my friends. I was left with an INCREDIBLE
after-glow feeling (this is probably the happiest I have ever felt
after doing a drug).



Overall, I have been comparing this experience to one of my VERY heavy
trips on shrooms. I'm impressed with the power of Salvia, and now
have great respect for it. I look foward to my next trip....

I find the same thing with salvia it is a totally different experience with eyes open and eyes closed.



My first trip was with eyes open and I didn't like it at all!
very scary thought I would be stuck where I was (the side of a mountian
snowboarding) actually the drug told me that I was going to be
unable to return (I heard a voice never saw anyone/anything that could
have been the source of the voice I was just told that my girlfriend
would be pissed at me, then told me I could never get back) I
shit bricks! I have heard of ppl trying acid and not comming back
and never being normal again, that is what I thought was going to
happen to me, this all happened after I got the bottom of the mountian
boarding down the hill was fun I was having a good time untill the
voice! and the rest of the halucination was very benign I was
just standing at the bottom of the hill and nothing was happening
untill I heard the voice then I became very scard and thought I was
trapped.



All trips since have been with eyes closed and none as scary in the
fact that I thought I wouldn't come back, but I've had a few that were
scary becausee of content. Once I had a wall fold down and I
entered the next paraelle universe with myself again and all my
family. I was the only one "doubled" because I was the only one
who fell over the folded wall, I had no choice as the wall folded the
room started to rotate so first I fell across the floor (which was now
vertical not horizontal) and as the room rotated more I fell up the
wall (which was now horizontal) and over the top folded part.
Landed in the sam room with all the same ppl except me (two of me) and
everyone jus tkinda looked at me like where did you just come
from? then I came back to reality and couldn't believe what I had
just experienced!

My roommate and I decided to try some 20x. He had smoked some
earlier, and I made a spur of the moment decision to try it one night.
So he filled up a bong and packed a fairly large sized bowl for one
person. I cleared it in two rips, and lost consciousness before
exhaling the second one.

When I awoke, I had no clue who I was or where I was. But that was not
important. What was important was that the universe around me, space
and time, was being cut into molecularly-thin strips and hung on white
wire clothes hangers for sale at some sort of market. I could feel some
sort of dimensional blade enter the base of my spine and slide all the
way down, and when I tried to move, it prevented me. When I turned my
eyes to look at my arms, I saw the slices in space separating it into
many layers. My vision was distorted: shadows had a sort of purple
aetherial quality to them. When tripping on shrooms once in the past, I
had described this phenomenon as Einstein's theoretical aether. I
looked across at A, who was looking at me and grinning hugely. When I
finally could muster the energy to speak, all I could whisper was
"what's happening to me??","what's happening?" to which he replied
"sallllviaaa." As I came down (the experience lasted from 3 to 5
minutes) I began to slowly recall who and where I was. I kept asking
"what's happening to me?" until A finally answered "dude, you smoked a
bowl of 20x salvia." Holy shit. I had absolutely forgotten. As I
regained my senses, I did all I could do to get confortable by
stripping down and going to sleep.



It scared the shit out of me, but it was definitely an enjoyable
experience. Can't wait until I finish with my last final exam this
afternoon and am free to trip again

A Freeway On-ramp


About 2 years ago I got some Salvia (just leaf, not concentrated). Helpful hint: Use the concentrate.


In myfirst session (out of 3 uses) I loaded up a bong with a healthy amount. I was told that I needed to light it with a flame-thrower (or a really good lighter), so I bought a little lighter with a huge flame.


I sat out on the patio. I took a couple deep breaths. I put the fire to the leaf. I took a big hit. OH! The taste is NOT good. A few seconds later I felt like I was moving ... then, moving quickly.


I compare this to a tiny piece of an acid trip, when I am accelerating on an on-ramp. Then, it felt like I was standing still, but my brain was spinning inside my head. My ears were ringing (sort of), and I couldn't hear anything else for 30 seconds. As this wore off, a smile came to my lips, and I felt like I had just taken a shower (clean, dry, relaxed). The taste came back after T+2 minutes. I noticed that the taste seemed only to affect part of my tongue (the front middle and deep in my throat, I think).


Thoughts came-and-went pretty quickly, but no more hallucinations. After 10 minutes, I could hardly tell I had done anything.


It was (generally) a positive experience. If there were no other drugs in the world, I would be using it a lot. I tried it 2 more times; they were better (and worse). They were better because I knew what to look for (and accentuate); they were worse, because the taste reminded me why it is not my favorite drug.


I am so glad that there are so many different drugs. There is something for everyone (who wants to try).

my first time was awesome. i hitthe pipe and held it in for about 10 seconds. suddenly the floor falls out to form a roof that i was on the center of. i was laughing really hard and every breath i exhaled a green ball flew out of my mouth and rolled into a schoolbus that was on the ground. my stomache was sore from laughter for the next three days.
