Maybe we could get the authorities to declare a drugs amnesty? These ways swimmers can simply hand in all their contraband to the powers that be? Lol

Yea, swim's not producing or buying drugs just so some pig can take it away. It's much more fun showing it off and running.

swim thinks that the idea is not about bringing drugs there but just simply an overwhelming amount of people showing up saying we all smoke marijuana arrest us.

I think that nobody would 'actually' do it. Why would someone want to risk throwing their life away that way? Going to jail esp for drug possession is something that can likely be found out by employers, cops, anyone who's looking. If the only effect was going to jail for 14 days then maybe, but all in all it just looks bad.

Now, if everybody went in the police stations and said "I smoked a joint last week" well that would just be comical but a little smarter of an idea

I actually like that idea a little more. If we had mass amounts of people all saying "I smoked weed yesterday or I shot up heroin yesterday, etc etc" I think more people would participate and it might show some hypocrisy in the drug laws, especially if everyone showed up in professional looking clothing.

Its hard for swim to say that turning one self in to the pigs for smoking pot or having pot or any illicit drug would be wise,Swim gets it but just doesnt think that for the most part that folks are willing to take that chance.For example in Ky swim has read that the pot laws differ from county to county,meaning 1 county will give you 14 to 21 days on a simple possesion of a joint not to mention anything of weight,and swim recalls reading in anothor county for that same charge one would get a pre-paid fine.Swim agrees we need people in big buisness suits,hell maybe lawyers,doc's,etc would go to washington in a march for freedom but who are we kidding other than ourselves,to get that kind of people would be a plus,but to risk everything they have worked for.Swim thinks that it is just a matter of time before we see any success on the efforts to decrimilize pot, just swims opinon............................................ .

This type of idea is great in theory as a non violent resistance (Kind of like if everyone stopped paying income tax in protest of wasteful government spending) , but it would be nearly impossible to mobilize the numbers of people you need to be effective.
