Side effects - Some crazy weed effects

SWIM used to like to occasionally smoke with his friends. He'd get the giggles feel relaxed and overall have a good time. Lately though swim's been having some bad effects. His heart would race and his body starts to tingle and feel pretty hot. He also starts seeing a very faint color pattern over his vision with shapes just kind of morphing. These would freak swim out and give him an anxiety attack, which totally ruins his good time. Sometimes he thinks he will die or become a schizophrenic. Should swim just quit or is there a way to get over this as he really used to enjoy the occasional smoke.
