Effects - Morphine vs. Oxycontin

SWIM will be clubbing together with a few of his friends to buy either some MS Contin or Oxycontin (purdu, or something like that)

He has tried OC's a few times and has just about got the dose right, although they aren't as strong as he was expecting (probably because he hasn't tried that strong a dose)

The minimum buy (SWIM knows it's a legit source, no worries there) for both of these chems is quite high, and as such it will definately be one or the other that is bought.

He is looking for some advice from people famillier with both chems, which do SWIY prefer? Which gives more euphoria, gives a better all round opiate feeling ect?

Ms Contin- upbeat, floaty feeling (swim couldn't put his arms down) very fun-loving
Oxycontin- VERY down down down. Almost like a coma state. Lathargy is inevitable.

Of course this is swim's experience, so the specifics may vary.

SWIM agrees, oxycontin will put you to sleep, although morphine isnt exactly inductive to a lot of movement either

Hmm, in that case SWIM thinks he should go for some more OC's then, he's looking for a real sedetive downer

In SWIM's personal experience, oxycodone provides much more euphoria than morphine, though he really enjoys both. SWIM does not agree that morphine makes him want to dance/move around a lot but then again neither does the OC.

my friends cousin enjoys oxy much more. He doesn't get too much from morphine.

Swim had better experiences with snorted oxycontin than IV morphine. Although, the morphine was under a hospital setting and was probably a much smaller dose. So it's not really a good comparison. But I do know oxycodone is more potent by weight...

SWIM has never tried str8 morphine aka ms-contin but has experience with poppy tea (combination of opiates containing morphine) & with oxycodone. A lower dose (varies depending on level of tolerance) of oxycodone is definately more upbeat than morphine in SWIMs opinion & would be more favorable/euphoric in terms of clubbing/social situations.

SWIM's experienced both many times. Hands-down the oxycodone is better in everyway. The only way to enjoy morphine is to inject it, in which case it might be worthwhile. But if SWIY is planning on snorting or eating the pills then go with the oxies.

In Swims opinion The ocs give him more of a speedy felling for a few hours after dosing. And the Mophine gives swim more of a relaxed felling.Hope this is helpfull.

It's very important to note the method of administration SWIW will be using. If planning on taking pills inside the club, OC is def the best choice, as it isn't wise to shoot up in a club bathroom. Security is usually higher, not to mention the high activity of people going in and out.

Morphine has a VERY low bio-availability when swallowed (around 20%) and maybe twice that if snorted. The latter is only for instant release tabs, as any kind of extended-release formulation for morphine will just gel up in the nose. Oxycodone has a high bio-availability on the the other hand (about 80+%).

To give SWIW an example, SWIM took 600mg of MSContin once and *barely* felt ANYTHING. When he did 50mg IV'ed later that same day, he was very high:P

So unless the morphine is 1/5 the price of the oxycontin, definitely go for the latter.
