Effects - MS Contin with diazepam

Swims doctor has given him a script for MS Contin and Diazeam because of his chronic fatigue system. He is affraid to mix them as he doesn't know what the side effect could be. Does anyone no anything about this?

I don't know too much about chronic fatigue, but I think before someone could give you an answer for that, they would need to know if this person has taken narcotics before, if so what kinds and what dosage? Also, what miligram MS Contin and diazepam are we talking about? Swim knows someone that's on high dosages of Kadian, Klonopin, Oxycodone, and Dilaudid, so you can do it but it's should be a gradual buildup of miligrams and time. If swim is starting off low and slow, they shouldn't have a problem. However, as we know you never know how medicine is going to react to a person untill they try it. Sorry to hear about swim's illness. Sorry I couldn't be more help to you.

Thanks for the Reply. Swim is on 50mg - 100mg of MS Contin a day for the pain and is on 10mg - 20mg of diazepam before bed to help with his chronic insomnia. Swim might try it tonight and see if it gives him any bad side effects.
