Problem with diabetic syringe

SWIMS plunger on his rig won't go down. SWIM has a diabetic syringe, this has happened to SWIM before, the plunger goes down almost all the way then pops back up. When this happened last time the plunger ended up going back doonewn within a week, weird huh? Has this happened to anyone else?
