Ugh, ether...it hasnt been said yet so i need to say it

when having fun with ether, DONT FUCKING SMOKE OR USE
ANYTHING WITH A FLAME

you'll blow ur shit up and possible die.

DOnt use ether too much either, it is possible to overdose and a
freind of mine who used ashit load of it ending up getting a
bleeding ear, im not srue the connection, coulda wanged it
somewhere while under the influence.


And do the extraction outside, otherwise ur house will smel like shit
for a few days.

Diethyl Ether, when dried, tends to form shock-sensitive peroxides. In other words, it can explode if you shake or touch it. This can be negated by the addition of a small amount of Ferrous Sulfate. If you don't understand how or why this would be, you are not a chemist and would be best advised not be allowing ether to evaporate in the first place. Last thing you need/want is an explosion around an incredibly inflammable chemical like Diethyl Ether.
