UK - Can the goverment see if you been on sites like Erowid

and also SWIM talks about smoking pot with mates on msn, can this information be seen, im not asking about if it can be seen if there is a bug in the computer tracking info, im on about can they see info such as:

"Ye dude I(SWIM) just took 3 hits on the bong and now im as high as a kite, lol" - just as an example convo

They could almost certainly find your browsing history by looking at your computer. Unsure about msn.

Unless your swimmer is under investigation its unlikely to be something they need to worry about.

They probably can review what SWIY has written on MSN and browsing history remotely but they would have no reason or interest to take any action unless one was talking about manufacturing or selling large, large amounts of something.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in the Socialist Republic of United States of Amierika (SR-USA), The pattern of your web search may create a profile that is flagged for evaluation. If it looks suspicious enough, the government will get further information; financial - credit card purchases (what did you buy & when did you buy it? -this creates a profile of your needs and purchase patterns - ie. what stores you're likely to go to), tax returns, loan obligations on house & car, etc. Educational: where you went to school, grades, subject matter you studied and your level of proficiency. Personal; phone records - who did you call, where do they live? What is their relationship to you? Email - what did you discuss on line? What subject matter and how extensive is your knowledge?

The US government can also raid your house based on the profile of your use of public utilities (electricity, water, sewage), or use THAT information to go look into your finances, education, political affiliation, personal records, etc.

It's a "Fuck-you! We're in control, here" kind of deal.

So if you're an American, the best thing that you can do to educate your children is to teach them that we are NOT a free country anymore, and the ideals upon which this country WAS founded have been eroded to where they no longer apply.

swim knows they can, but again like everyone else said, unless swiyou got like a huge meth lab or hundreds of weed plants, I dont see any reason for them too. swim believes they would need a warrent of some sort to look at those things.

Every search made on google is stored, your ISP will probably know all the sites you have visited, however I highly doubt they will bother with someone as small time as you when they have pheadophiles (bastards) to catch.

Theoretically they could trace what you were looking at and who you were but they won't bother.
