Drug info - Plugging Oxycontin

SWIM has heard a lot of people say the bioavailability of OC is quite low when taken orally or nasally, and that pluggung is a much cleaner, cost efficiant way of taking them.

Can anyone vouch for this? What would be a good dose, and how much water should SWIM disolve it in?

If Red Rock remembers correctly, the BA of oral oxycodone is 60-87% and the BA anally is just about the same if not slightly higher. The only real difference between plugging and taking the Oxycontin orally would probably be that the Oxycontin would hit faster when plugging than when taking orally. Red Rock has never tried plugging Oxycontin but this is just things he has read about on various forums

Oh...well in that case SWIM will just try taking it orally next time instead heh

Wow, for any newbies looking into this Don't snort your OC's!

SWIM tried the stuff for the 3rd time today, the first 2 he had snorted (1st: 10mg snorted, 5mg 30 mins later, 5mg 30 mins later -- 2nd time: 15mg snorted, 5mg 30 mins later), and was honestly a little disapointed with the chemical.

Today he crunched up roughly 20mg in his mouth (it tastes vile...), and was much more impressed with the results.
Quite a strong opiate feeling for an hour or so, followed by a lovely, mellow afterglow (which he is still enjoying 3 1/2 hours later )

Lesson learned, snorting them is a waste. SWIM just wishes he hadn't wasted 1/2 of the pill he had finding this out

If swiy would have used the search engine swiy would have found plenty of advise AGAINST snorting.

Probably so, but a lot of the reports he read on Erowid, as well as a fair few posts here talked about snorting, so SWIM considered that was the done thing

strange, because swim almost always snorts her oc's and loves it. If she tries to just take them she doesnt feel much.. even when taking an 80 with the time release peeled off :/
I guess everyone really does react differently?
