Swim has grown and cultivated lactuca serriola quite a few times and swim thinks he should share. It is easy to find lactuca serriola, considering it grows as a weed all over the world. Once found pick a flower or two, take the flowers home and dry them. The next day there should be a puffball full of seeds, collect the seeds and plant them in an ordinary container with ordinary miracle grow. They come up pretty quickly 3-5 days. Water once ever 3 days or so. Once it reaches flowering (fully flowered) cut the entire flowering branc off and wait about 3-4 hours. Come back and collect the sap in a bag, tissue, or bowl. Cut another small peic off about 1 inch down from where the original cut is. Repeat this process until there is no longer any plant. ENJOY!
