Combinations - Mushrooms and Amphetamine

SWIM's never had a psychedelic before, but he's always been extremely curious about what it would be like to trip, and wants to try psilocybin mushrooms. however, SWIM is afraid he might have the type of personality prone to having a bad trip because of paranoia, nervousness, panicking, etc. but whenever he's on amphetamine (regular user), SWIM feels very excited and enthusiastic about taking shrooms, and all his fears totally dissipate, leading SWIM to think that it would be best for his first trip to be while he's on speed at the same time. would that be allright to do? would the two drugs interact in any way that would reduce potency or cause unpleasant effects?
