Ingesting GBL and potential gastric problems

SWIM has recently really got into GBL, after enjoying his first 50ml bottle he clubbed together with a few others (split 5L) and got 500ml.

He used to use it most nights and never seemed to have an issue, but this bottle seems to be slightly different.
Normally he dilutes 1.3 - 1.5ml in just under 1/4 pint liquid and downs that, followed by 2 - 3 good mouthfulls of water.

This has never been a problem, but last night, maybe 20 mins after his 2nd dose he could feel the path the GBL had taken, almost like it had burned a little all the way down to his stomach.
It still feels a little sore today (although this could just be SWIM's imagination, it's very feint if there at all), but still has him a little worried.

He'd quite like to take some more today, but is worried about what this is doing to his insides, this is after all an industrial solvent

He's thinking of just diluting it into more liquid, maybe 3/4 pint liquid for 1.5ml, followed by a few more mouthfulls.

Just wanted to check if this is anything to worry about?

(and please, no replies along the lines of "dont take GBL, convert it to GHB", SWIM knows this, he is getting some Sodium Hydroxide in the next week or so, but that still doesn't answer his question )
