yeah, or they might want money to buy their DOC........say the person who found SWIY a smack dealer prefers crack, they might hit you up for $5 for a rock. In SWIMs opinion this is normal behavior, he doesn't know anyone who does middleman work, especially for strangers, for free. All depends on what SWIY is buying, in what quantity, and how much risk etc the random street person took on to help SWIY. All these factors shoud be considered when compensating.
Of course SWIM has never bought, sold or been a middleman for drugs, he is just relaying what others have told him.

My brother from another mother is a very infrequent user: years between uses and uses so little quantity anyway, so when this individual does go out on a field trip they tip 20 to 25 percent. This individual has never met anyone who has had gross objections to this arrangement.

nobody commits felonies for free, they are going to take some off the top , before they come back with the product, if they even come back.

or if they arent able to skim it, then they will want a kick down, if they are askin for one that means they have already pinched out some.

they also work the other end of the deal , they turn a certain amount for the connection in return for a free package.

the major problem is when they dont ask for a kick down up front and they try to organize a larger transaction by combining monies from a few different people , in order to get a discount from the connection for making a larger purchase, it gets people pissed because the middle man dosent tell the buyers that they are going to be waiting for his stuff until he can get together enough peoples money to buy the quanity needed to make a profit.

when swims old heroin dealers were out, he'd go done to the shaddy part of the city and give this homeless dude like $5 or less for him to take him to and introduce him to a street dealer. and he never gave the homeless dude a cent until he had made the deal with the dealer and had his shit. most street dealing occurs in the bad part of town and the homeless are also from that part of town so lots of them know whats going on around them (such as whose a dealer and what their dealing), plus a large proportion of the homeless are addicts.
swim finds giving the homeless money to bring him to a dealer preferable to giving someone one doesnt know the drug money and hoping they come back, or dont pinch too much, or just wanting some of swims drugs. and the homeless seem more grateful for just a few bucks for introducing you.
dont know if swim answered swiys question or not, so he'll add always tip the middle-man/lady.

SWIM can't really say as he has never bought (succesfuly ) from street dealers, he always buys from people he knows are legit, and as he'sa returning customer they don't take any off the top

In his opinion, street dealers SWIY don't know are just asking for trouble, stay well clear

Whenever my lizard went out for weed, he'd go to one dude's place for his stuff...that dude would then call up his dudes and see which one had weed that day. The middle man would declare a price and if it was fair, my lizard would take it and then drive the middle man to the place.
