Combinations - combining benzos? any differance?

my friend is just curious if you were to combine benzos would it bring on a new buzz? or just feel the exact same.

she has been thinking of taking some clonazepam and alprazolam and maybe another benzo in low amounts just to see what the effects would be...if any.

well obviously there will be, but if it would be any diff than just one benzo was taken.

A circus clown I once read a story about tried clonozepam and alprazolam - both in low dosages - and did not notice any drastic advantages to the combination. The clown, however, was not proactive in paying close attention to the feeling.

Its THE dope shit. seriously. the coolest thing about benzos is that they work indefinatly for anxiety YEARS after you loose the buzz. Ive now taken benzos for a little over a decade.
the second coolest thing about benzos is that theres NOT a 100 percent cross tolerance. IE even though Ive taken 6 mg kpin a day for the past 8 years, if I take a single halcion I WILL get fucke dup, or at least I will feel the effects of the drug. and combining the 2 makes for one hell of a time for us long time users.
though even in the early days I ALWAYS combined. my origional combo was Xanax and Valium. the Xanax Rushed me immediatly, while the valium stayed with me all day. extreme euphoria, especialy with weed.
then it was xanax bars and klonopins. I noticed the bars kicked in HARD and then left a few hours later. I noticed the klondykes on their own, gradualy came on (and then felt the same sstrong as a bar) and then lasted ALL DAY I mean at least a SOLID 12 hours then another 12 of being mellow. but it had no rush. So one or 2 bars for the rush, and 1 or 2 2mg k's to keep the high all day. this shit got me WRECKED.
Nowadays its Klonazepam 2 mg morning, 2 mg afternoon, and then at night 2 more mg, with 30 mg restoril (temaz) on top of it. HOLY FUCK. even though Ive been taking benzos for this long at these high of doses, I shit you not when I take jsut ONE temazepam (30) on top of my klono I WILL BLACK OUT. this is no joke and ive been on this combo now for over a year.
dont mix benzos with ambien, because benzos destroy any chance of REALLY tripping out on ambien. it feels like nothing.

ok so be careful, Know your body, Know your doses, and if your new too it maybe let someone who isnt a benzo monster hold on to your stash while your high so you dont end up eating 25 of each because that WILL happen

the best mix is Definatly klonopin and xanax in morning, and klono with either halcion or temaz at night. Its what has kept me sane all these years

tt thinks that has nothing to do with cross tolerance but with different
metabolism, if your system is not used to a triazolo benzo that might
need other enzymes to be metabolized that could be the reason.

many sources say you become tolerant to the anxiety effect of benzo's and many sources say you don't.

I beleive you dont, you do however become tolerate to the hypnotic and sedative effects, now to a non anxiety sufferer that would mean take more but to an anxiety sufferer its great because they are undesirable side effects BUT also an anxiety sufferer may think they are no longer working and take more and there goes that downward spiral into addiction and then not being able to come off them, as information says at daily high doses especially the short acting benzo's you may never be able to ween off them completely.

I think benzo's are not good recreationally for non anxious people too many risks if used frequently or combined, but for anxiety sufferes a life saver and thats the biggest high in the world.

actually just a few nights ago. my friends gf was having horrible anxiety. and than she took a few kpins and some temazepam , and the calming effects were so euphoric ( in the sense of just being completely calm and relaxied) that she really enjoyed the feeling. Only at times of high stress or panic attacks do benzos have any real euphoric or rec use in my friends opinion. now its not like an opiate euphoria, but just over all sense of well being and a feeling that everything will be ok. it really was a great feeling she said. just cuddling in bed and being totally care free.


a nice mix she finds is alprazolam, temazepam, and clonazepam. now she suggests somone with zero tolerance to not mix that many, but it is a nice feeling when panic is peeking its his head in your well...head....

she also enjoys mixing with ampth and opiates for a good buzz. although. its needed and prescribed legally to her.

Combining different benzodiazepines is unlikely to result in increased euphoria, as opposed to only taking one alone. The binding sites on the nerve cells are exactly the same for all benzodiazepines. They only slightly vary in location along GABAa pathways, giving some more sedative effects as opposed to others, or anxiolytic effects, or anti-convulsant effects, and etc.

Barbiturates, ethanol, and GHB all have different binding locations from benzodiazepines, allowing them to have synergistic effects when taken together. However, this is generally not reccomended (especially for barbiturates and GHB), as recreational dose can be difficult to measure for combined GABA agonists; this makes it far more likely to result in adverse reactions than just benzos alone.

Damn, SWIM was just about to make a post about combining benzos. SWIMS experience can definitely convey the thought that the combination of benzos WILL induce euphoria and so forth. Quite tired now, and will read up on the combination's of benzos as well as report back here. SWIM has a shit load of sheets of different ones and is about to pop and mix, mix and pop. On another note. If SWIY has been on a certain benzo for a LONG time say 2 to 3 years, and then wants to combine other benzos to "chase the dragon if you will" or just get a different effect....Which one might get. SWIM advises NOT to go of course with the regiment of the original benzo he started with. Especially the ones like alprazolam. SWIM is kinda in the shitter going through alprazolam withdrawls because he didn't keep to his daily dose of alprazolam when he started dabbling with mixing other benzos such as a bunch of clonazepam and a bunch of diazepam and a couple alprazolam. He basically got off track of his original intentions when getting on the med in the first place. So SWIM says again don't stray away from the daily dose of whatever benzo he was currently on when wanting to combine and mix and what not.
