Don't know but if you know some-one that has done this then why not tell SWIM.

SWIM has a problem that he will post nas a New thread but anyone can help SWIM wiff this!
SWIM is on Kapanol but SWIM's Doc wants him off this particular Drug. Now i cant say that SWIM likes K's because they are so easy to crush + Hit. What are swims options. Is MS Contin easy to do as Kap'l ???
SWIM was in a Serious Car Accident and NEEDS Pain relief!!!
SWIM was on 200 mg of Kapanol (Morph) but his rat-bag Doc has brought him down to 40.
SWIM has tried a couple of GP's to take over SWIMs Permit but NO-Dice!
SWIM's Doc has suggested other Analgeasics like Methodone (Urrrgh~~~SPIT!) but SWIM says he can't do the Meth'd thing for Health reasons (not to mention the STIGMA of being on Meth!!!) and SWIMs Doc has recomended Endone & MS Cont.
What should SWIM DO ??????

I take MSContin daily and for me i love it, i take about 200mg a day, but this past month ive been taking only 60 but for me i took my body about 2-3 weeks of taking it orally crushed daily to get the full effects. If you do go on it stay on it for at least a month, and this is how i generally take it.

I have a small candle holder looks like a shot glass, i pour the little beads into that and i take a butter knife that has a rounded handle and i use it like a mortor and pestle to crush the beads all you do is stir the beads in the glass and it will crush them up in no time, maybe crush a few first to get some friction on the glass.

Then i take one single sheet of toilet paper and i pour the powder into the center and the i gather the remaing powder in the glass with my index finger by slowly circling the glass with out taking my finger off the glass and add whats on my finger to the tissure. grab it by the edges and fold it up and twist the powder so you have a small ammount of tissue suronding the morphine. Cut the ramaing toilet paper off dry tounge. swallow. Potenate with antacid first if you want. gl

SWIY will notice that the effects of morphine are not nearly as potent when compared to oxycodone. Morphine has a poor bioavailability when used intranasally. SWIM read a journal abstract published in the UK that mentioned that by using a chitosan-morphine nasal formulation, they were able to increase the bioavailability of morphine when administrated nasally. SWIM has not tried this, nor has SWIM heard of any experience reports using it. When SWIM gets around to reading the entire article SWIM may post some of the exact specifications used in the study to prepare the solution, so SWIY's who are inclined have access to the information assuming that it is not already posted. SWIM would like to try such a solution and images that SWIY's would to.
