Participate in a study about Cannabis & Family History of Mental Health.

Participant Information.

Cannabis, Family History of Mental Health and Personality.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the consumption of marijuana, family history of mental health and personality traits. All data will be collected by means of an online questionnaire lasting approximately 15 - 20 minutes. Your participation would be greatly appreciated and COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS; your name does NOT need to be provided.

You are free to ask any questions you may have about the questionnaire and/or the research in general by contacting a member of the research team at the details below. In the case that you would like to take part in this study, you have the right to stop your participation at any time during completion of the questionnaire. To do this, simply close the internet browser.

If you agree to take part, you also have the right to withdraw from the study at a later date, without giving a reason. In this case, you will be asked to state a pseudonym (i.e., a made up name), which you will be asked to give when you agree to consent. If you do wish to withdraw from the study, please contact a member of the research team at the details below before the 1st April 2009.

All data will be kept strictly confidential and protected at all times. There is no possibility that your data can be identified in any report or publication. The data is to be stored electronically for no longer than necessary and up to a maximum of five years.

The debriefing information will contain external help and support contacts and this will be presented online, upon submission of the questionnaire. Participation is voluntary and very much appreciated.
