pleasant hangovers

Most people get unpleasant hangers after a night of being drunk. for SWIM.. having been drunk atleast 100 times.. When SWIM wakes up after being drunk, even if SWIM got drunk than redosed to got drunk again.. He feels pretty good in the morning, he also finds it much easier to get up in the morning, If he was to have gotten drunk before having to get up in the morning he just jumps out of bed and feels wide awake.

Aside from that SWIM, in the morning he feels a nice buzz and feels discordinated(which feels kinda cool) for a few hours before feeling normal again.

just curiouse...who else here gets pleasant hangovers? does it feel the same way as SWIM described?

Not when SWIM drinks, but when SWIM does DXM he has pleasant morning afters. Also, after 2C-I nights he usually wakes up pretty well and good.

Ah, SWIM used to do dxm and he also felt good after dxm actually, he fucking loved dxm. it was the one drug he favored more than alcohol. he's on an SSRI now though so he can't do it(and for the past few months) he can't wait to experiance it again when he decides to come off of the ssris

SWIM often feels good the morning after drinking as well, though he wouldn't call it a "good hangover" so much as not getting a hangover and still being slightly affected by the alcohol. SWIM has drank far too much, only to wake up quickly and carry on with whatever he needs to do, with that nice dizzy feeling. SWIM's mind isn't usually on par though, though that is to be expected. He only had a hangover once, and that was terrible.

As for DXM, SWIM still has remnants of CEVs when he wakes up and closes his eyes, this lasts for a few hours, though when he opens his eyes he feels completely sober. He also has the weird feeling DXM give you while yawning (how many people get this?), and this fades throughout the day, getting lesser each time he yawns, though isn't really enjoyable.

SWIM could not stop from responding to this.

The is NO such thing as a pleasant hangover. Period.

A hangover is a hangover is a hangover. They suck.

Maybe there is some underground fetish group out there that enjoys giving themselves hangovers and having wacky hangover sex but they are all on their own, holmes.

Fuck hangovers.

I get the exact same thing, tbf i rarely encounter hangovers, crap ones i mean. Maybe once a month, but usually i get what you're describing a sort of pleasant buzz and feeling abit groggy too.

What's a SWIM btw? Why are people posting in 3rd tense?

Here we have a rule banning self-incrimination. Hence you will see a lot people posting in the 3rd person, or using SWIM (Someone Who Isn't Me).

The rules are something that you should definitely read.

SWIM often gets a pleasant hangover.
Usually when SWIM is drinking wine. The next day he's just light headed.. like after one small joint or something. It is quite pleasurable.

This one dude feels like a real man when he has a hangover. He's probably the only one that looks at himself as a man when he's in his grumpy and tired state.

Swim experiences the best hangovers after nights at a house party, when swim can wake up early before everyone and make coffee and breakfast. Swim finds something good in waking up in a different house with all of swims friends after a night of drinking and talking about it over swims expertly cooked eggs and pancakes!

SWIM thinks SWIY is enjoying human companionship/camaraderie...not hangovers.

SWIM sticks with his previous post...hangovers suck.

SWIM normally vomits after his first cigarette in the morning of a hangover, he does not tend to find any hangover to be pleasant in ny way.

Re: pleasant hangovers

Pleasant hangovers.No such thing.
What you described is really just waking up drunk.Like when you drink and keep drinking until 4-5 am and wake up around 8 am.You're still drunk, just not that drunk.
Hangovers are the result of sobering up.So by the time you sober up you probably already ate breakfast and drunk some water which made the hangover so smooth you hardly noticed it.

Pleasant hangover? They dont exist. A hangover is a hangover because they are awful.

A pleasant hangover is NOT HAVING a hangover.

ummm. no. swim always feels like hes forced awake early after a good amount of drinking the night before, but other than that... just... no. as has been said before, a pleasant hangover is just barely a hangover/still being a bit tipsy. go down a fifth, pass out, wake up, then tell swim you have a pleasant hangover.

Re: pleasant hangovers

SWIM usually reacts ok to a night of heavy drinking. He's able to get out of bed and sometimes is full of energy with a sense of euphoria which is arguably better than being freshly drunk. The negative side to this is that you get very tired after being awake for a few hours. SWIM can get bad hangovers too but these are less common.

SWIM has had many pleasurable hangovers - sometimes, as luck would have it, SWIM's brains get scrambled into a alcohol induced mess that actually leaves him goofy, laughing and slap happy, and ready to go out and do whatever he did again.

SWIM also thinks hangover sex is nearly always good - physical and fast, and huge relief.

SWIM finds hangovers pleasurable. Though maybe they shouldn't be called hangovers, which should be by definition unpleasent, but I can say it's not being tipsy, it's the distinct, strangely stimulating and disorienting feeling of hangover. SWIM has made a related thread with a title 'Hangover and Creativity': http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22441

swim does, in a really sad way when swim has work after a big big session he doesnt feel hungover untill about 9am (normally up at 5am for work) but when he does he gets a perverse feeling about it all, hard work and hangover make swim feel alive - wrongness but meh
