Best Kratom Investment?
SWIM has seen many different sources of Kratom. He also hears that many are fake or of low quality. What would be his best bang for his buck. He's seen Kratom powder on a certain auction site, he's seen Kratom patties, he's seen Kratom 15x extract (which I hear many times isn't worth it), 80x extract, and 250x extract. He is not debating how exactly strong each one is, he would just like to know what product has the best $/dose ratio. The dose being based on the high one gets, not an amount of kratom powder, etc.

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
well since no one has responded yet i will so it won't go cold, but SWIm is not an expert.
He reccomends that you try to get the most material for the least cost to start out with. try and get the biggest bag for the cheapest of powdered leaves, so SWIY can see how they like kratom. then try experimenting with extracts and varieties and such. just SWIm's advice to SWIY |

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
The problem is, SWIM is short on money and can't exactly experiment with all different types of Kratom, as it is expensive. He has seen people denounce many of the current Kratom products on the market, and so he doesn't see any sense in buying something that many people have tried and does not work. I know many SWIMmers on here have used Kratom for years and have used the same product over and over again to get the same result. Basically he is looking for people's favorite Kratom product that is tried and true.

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
i wouldn't go to an auction site. i would read around ethnobotanical forums, find reviews for good reliable vendors.
get powdered/crushed leafs.. toss n wash a tablespoon, wait 30 minutes, dose again if needed. ^ very loose 'rules' to follow. just trial an error it |

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
Whole powder Bali or (new to the scene and better) Super Indo Kratom are affordable, especially when purchased in quantity.
Something is always lost in the extraction process. 250x Extract may be an interesting product , but there is no way one gram is equivalent to 250 g of whole powder in terms of doses or over all potency. BTW, most extracts are made with the widely available commercial Bali. |

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
most of the other stuff just really isnt worth it
a straight answer for swim is get bali... it is the normal well used and well liked... extracts and other kinds tend to be a win and lose with different people so just use bali if funds are low.. .its cheap and easy to make tea boosting never worked for swim as kratom always takes 2 hours to hit for swim... so waiting 30 minutes wouldn't mean anything... look around you'll see that the auction sites suck Last edited by DXMBunny; 02-02-2009 at 10:17. |

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
Junket is right dont use an auction site and check ethnobotanical or kratom specific forms for reviews of kratom sources. Swim likes a "special" kratom vendor because of the high quality and the fact that they have the lowest prices swim could find.

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
SWIM suggests finding a good reputable vendor and buy some premium leaf, Bali usually being the standard (SWIMS personal fav is Indo but others prefer Thai strains). SWIM thinks this will give the best all round value for money.
Extracts are costly (they cost more because of the time and extra costs involved in making them), good quality plain leaf is certainly better for anyone new to Kratom and those that dont want to build tolerance fast. Higher tolerance = more money spent. |

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
Swim can say in his recent experience 'premium' leaf is the best overall. It seems to be that this goes further per weight than powder. Swim is not sure of why this appears to be the case but he thinks it has to do with the leaves ability stay fresh longer than the powder. PowderiIng the leaves exposes the interior of the leaf and subjects it to the elements.

Re: Best Kratom Investment?
MOD EDITED
price discussions are against the rules. ----------------- My cat just spent money on 15x powder and was not at all pleased with results. Tried, cold water, fruit juice and tea as mixes. The best the cat can say it felt like he took ~~ 1mg of valium or perhaps 2 tokes of a joint or at best a very weak cup of PST. He'll buy no more of that. Last edited by Benga; 19-04-2009 at 09:48. |
