Unhappy Dysphoric Pods?

Swim recently got some pods (Jumbo Arizona Selects) that she reports make her feel quite depressed, lethargic, and all around BAD. She also noticed that, shortly after drinking a tea made from one jumbo pod, her pee burns, her back aches, and she experiences many of the symptoms of kidney/UTI infection and even had to start a round of antibiotics after a 4-day period of use.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this? She doesn't do any other drugs and has used pods for about 6 months up until this point with no problems to speak of. These problems all started with the jumbo "organic" strain, which claims to use no chemicals whatsoever in the growing process. She rinses and wipes each one down after removing the seeds, which she hears can decrease exposure to things like pesticides, dust, bug particles, etc.
