Purity - Reagent kit question

SWIM'S feral cat friend was wondering... do these kits work with other substances i.e LSD?

they only register a few different kinds of compounds, basically the kind often found in pills. so mdxx substances, amphetamines, 2c-x's, ketamine, dxm, and amphetamines. these tests only show the presence of a chemical, never the concentration with which the chemical is in the pill.

There used to be a product available from online shops said to give easy and accurate for LSD residue identification, i have no experience of it myself. I dont think i'm able to post links but that site has various kits that include testing for lsd.

So if a pill is half MDMA and half meth, I guess the test color would still come out as dark purple / black, just as if the pill were 100 percent MDMA?? Isn't that right? If so, at what percentage of MDMA would a mixed meth and MDMA pill show a test color of red / brown to indicate meth? I mean would even a pill with 20 percent MDMA and 80 percent meth still show a good dark purple / black color?

Your question is flawed. You assume that when someone uses a reagent test, that they somehow can determine the ratio of active ingredients, no one would be able to tell you how that should work unless the manufacturer has some research done for its customers.

Kit apologises as she didn't phrase the question that well.
What she meant is ... if her acid contained for example MDMA could this show in a reagant kit?

She has no personal experience with reagent kits but knows how they work.

Swim cannot imagine acid containing MDMA. Acid usually comes in blotter or liquid form. MDMA usually comes in powder or pill form. Not to mention acid is active in much smaller doses than MDMA.
