Can pods be disguised as prescription Opiods in a urinalysis?

SWIPA works for a temp agency and he was working with the same company through them since July. They recently let him go 2 days ago as they are trying to save money and they needed to reduce the head count and he was the one with the least seniority there. When he first went on the assignment he had to stop by the temp agency before going to the warehouse he was working at and take a urinalysis. He was clean at the time so of course he passed.

He now has to call the temp agency everyday he is available to work and when they have another assignment for him, they will most likely drug test him again.

He has had a rather large pod habit for about 5 months now. He is going to have to quit anyway as he will not have the money to keep it up. He has about 75 pods left to taper with. About a month ago he was prescribed Hydrocodones and then shortly after, when he told them they weren't working he was prescribed oxycodone. The pills are long gone but they don't know that. So I guess what his question is, is if he calls the agency and they have an assignment for him and drug test him, if he comes up positive for Opiates because of the pods, would he be able to blame it on the prescriptions or would they be able to tell the difference?

Also it has been over a month since the pills were prescribed but he is still having pain so would he be able to say he wasn't taking them everyday? Only when he was in a lot of pain and he just took some yesterday or something or would that not fly since the script is over a month old?

Thanks in advance.

Guys, I know we are not suppose to bump our own threads and I'm sorry but SWIPA really needs help with this. This is imperative to know so he can keep his job. All he needs to know is in a standard urinalysis, can they tell the difference between synthetic opiods such as Oxy/Hydrocodone and and the Morphine and Codeine in pods?

Re: Can pods be disguised as prescription Opiods in a urinalysis?

Its all broken down to morphine in the body Someone once said. They thought that a common test would just test for the presence of this substance. They thought that it may be possible through deep examination but this is unlikley. They recommended that someone in this situation just let them know up front at the time they were informed of the test that they were on a prescription opiate and that would be ok. They didn't look to be an expert though so use your best judgement.
