Imphepho (Helichrysum petiolare)

Anyone treid this? Theres hardly any information about it but apparently it is psychoactive. Its apparently a nice relaxing sedation, nothing overpowering or too sleepy, with a slightly cannabis like buzz and change in color. Wiki hardly has any information yet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imphepho

Most information is from product information, so I cant link to it but this is what it says.

Imphepho - Helichrysum odoratissimum

The plant is a strongly aromatic, much-branched perennial herb with small silvery leaves and small yellow flower heads. Imphepho is burned as ritual incense to invoke the goodwill of the ancestors. The smoke is reportedly sedative, and helpful for insomnia. Healers in KwaZulu-Natal to induce a trance inhale the smoke.

Quote:
Botanical Name: Helichrysum odoratissimum (Asteraceae) Common Names: Imphepho, Kooigoed

Active Constituents: Chalcone; Helichrysetin

Botanical description: Helichrysum odoratissimum

Helichrysum odoratissimum is classified as a perennial herb or shrublet. It has densely aromatic hairy or woolen leaves and persistent flower heads.

What differentiates this species from the other is the shape and size of leaves and flower heads.

Helichrysum odoratissimum Historical and Shamanic Use:

The smoke of Helichrysum odoratissimum is inhaled as part of local shamanic ritual or used as a ritual incense to drive away evil spirits. Imphepho has been used to treat numerous diseases that are often ascribed to the working of these aforementioned spirits. Namely: Coughs, Colds, Fever, Infections and Headaches.
The smoke of Imphepho is sedative and good for insomnia.
Anyone think its worth it? May be a good natural sleep aid.
